TWO cleaners who have worked together for nearly 28 years will retired last Friday because they couldn’t work with anyone else.
Janet Davidson (68), and Cath Morton (63), from Pathhead have cleaned the village’s surgery on the Main Street since it opened in March 1985.
Janet spoke of their friendship and pending retirement: “We get on fine together, we never had a fall out, it really has been great working there with Cath.
“Now I have worked with someone for so long, it would be hard to adjust to someone else’s way of working. So we decided to retire at the same time. I will miss it, but there comes a time when you really have to finish up.”
