Cop a load of these salaries
MORE than 400 officers and staff with Lothian and Borders Police earned more than £50,000 for the last year, new figures revealed today.
A total of 404 force employees topped that pay level between April last year and March, a rise on the previous year when the figure was 362.
Some 203 employees received £50,000 to £55,000 and 128 took home £55,000 to £60,000.
Chief Constable David Strang was the only person to top £150,000, with a salary of £150,090, compared with £146,566 for the previous year.
