Boy, 15, seriously injured from being hit by car in West Lothian

A 15-year-old boy was seriously injured after being struck by a car in West Lothian last night.

The collision, involving a blue Audi A3 travelling south, happened on Station Road, Armadale, at about 9:40pm on Sunday.

Emergency services attended and the boy was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.

Police said the road was closed for about six hours for a collision investigation to take place.

Sergeant Jill Kirkpatrick, of Road Policing East, said: “A teenager has been seriously injured as a result of this road traffic collision and we are looking for the public’s help to establish exactly what happened.

"I would urge anyone who was in the area at the time or anyone who was driving on the road with dashcam footage to please get in contact with Police."
