Death of Edinburgh man being treated as 'unexplained' by police

The body of a 57-year-old man was discovered in a flat in Edinburgh, on Tuesday afternoon at around 4pm.

Police were called to the flat on Muirhouse Park in Edinburgh, on Tuesday, January 12, at around 4pm and discovered the man’s body.

Officers remained at the scene into Tuesday evening and are believed to still be at the scene today.

Police Scotland confirmed today that the death of the 57-year-old man is being treated as ‘unexplained’.
