Officers pulled over the vehicle after noticing something dangling from the underside of the chassis.

A brake caliper forms a crucial part of the brake disk on each wheel of a car; without it, a driver cannot brake safely.
Police Scotland said a PG9 vehicle prohibition notice was issued to the driver, banning the vehicle from being driven until it passes a reinspection.
The driver was reported to the Procurator Fiscal for driving a vehicle in a dangerous condition.
