Police in the Capital have reported that several taxis were illegally ranking at the widened pavement on Princes Street contrary to the terms of their licence.

Police Scotland has stated that their officers are ensuring these spaces are safe for vulnerable road users.
Plans were released in July showing areas of the city that would have restricted parking implemented, along with a widening of pavements to create space for pedestrians and cyclists.
