Elderly Linlithgow resident tricked out of thousands by bogus workmen
Three men – who all had Irish accents – turned up at his home in Lennox Gardens, Linlithgow, on Sunday, Monday and Thursday this week.
They claimed to carry out extensive gardening work before taking their victim – aged in his 80s – to his bank in a Transit-type vehicle.
