Four people have been arrested and a man taken to hospital with serious injuries after an incident in Bathgate.

Emergency services were called to an address in Philip Avenue at around 6pm on Friday evening following reports of a disturbance.

A 35-year-old man was taken to hospital having sustained serious injuries.

Officers arrested three men and one woman in connection with the incident.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police were called around 6pm on Friday, 19 June, 2020, following the report of a disturbance at an address in Philip Avenue, Bathgate.

“Emergency services attended and a 35-year-old man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
