The males sped off in their dark grey Mitsubishi L200 in the direction of Pencaitland when approached.

The police are asking anyone who witnesses this or has any more information to contact 101 and quote incident number 2501 of August 19.

Alternatively they can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Police in East Lothian would also like to remind the public that hare coursing - using dogs to hunt hares for sport - is a crime.
