John Muir Country Park: Police increase patrols in East Lothian beauty spot after speaking to man for his suspicious behaviour
There will be an increase in police patrols in an East Lothian beauty spot after reports of a suspicious man in the area were verified after police happened upon him while on patrol.

Police Scotland announced that they would be undertaking ‘focused reassurance patrols’ around John Muir Country Park after receiving the reports of a suspicious male in the area.
Posts across social media have spoken of a man who deliberately followed a woman, and one who approached someone who was out walking their dog.

On Thursday morning during their patrol, the police stopped and identified the man responsible and he was spoken to regarding his actions.
