Man arrested after knife-point robbery in East Lothian

Police in East Lothian can confirm that a 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a knife-point robbery in Musselburgh.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, November 1, within a commercial premises in North High Street.

The 34-year-old will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.

Inspector Andrew Harborow of Musselburgh Police Station said: “Police Scotland treats all incidents of knife crime seriously.

“Anyone found to be carrying an offensive weapon will be dealt with robustly and can expected to be held fully accountable for their actions.”
