Man arrested for speeding after being caught driving 98 mph in East Lothian

A man has been arrested for driving 98 mph along the A1 near Gladsmuir.

Police in East Lothian stopped the 28-year-old during a road check on Sunday, May 24.

He was charged with the relevant driving offences and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

This comes less than two weeks after a 21-year-old man was caught speeding on the same stretch of road going 96 mph.
