Complaints were made to police in Haddington after a man was seen buying alcohol and handing it over to youths.

The man was traced, arrested and charged and a report has been put in to the Procurator Fiscal.

Police Scotland confirmed: “Following complaints to officers in Haddington regarding a male who purchased alcohol for under-age youths, a 49 year old male has been traced and charged.”
