DALKEITH:

On Saturday, March 27, at Tesco Hardengreen, two 16 year old males assaulted and racially abused members of staff and acted in a threatening and abusive manner. When arrested one of the males was also found to be in possession of controlled drugs. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

On Saturday, March 27, at Tesco Hardengreen Dalkeith a 62 year old man was stopped by staff having attempted to steal good valued at £170. Officers attended and cautioned and charged the man. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

On Friday, March 26, at Salters Road Dalkeith a 39 year old woman was cautioned and charged with dangerous driving having been seen by officers driving whilst using a mobile telephone. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

On Thursday, March 25, a 49 year old man was stopped by officers whilst driving a motor car on the A7 near Dalkeith. Enquires found he did not have a valid certificate of insurance in force for the vehicle. The vehicle was seized and a report submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

On Wednesday, March 24 at Ryndale Court, two women, aged 47 and 36, conducted themselves in a threatening and abusive manner shouting and fighting with each other. Both were given recorded police warnings.

NEWTONGRANGE / MAYFIELD:

On Saturday, March 27, following an assault at Old School Gardens, Mayfield, a 43 year old woman was cautioned and charged. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal

On Monday, March 22 at Main Street, Newtongrange, following a road traffic accident a 26 year old man was cautioned and charged with dangerous driving. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

GOREBRIDGE:

On Thursday, March 25, at Scotmid, Hunterfield Road, Gorebridge, a 39 year old woman stole goods and left the store having failed to pay. Officers attended and traced the woman nearby. She was held in custody to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.

BONNYRIGG:

On Wednesday, March 24, at Eskdale Drive, a 54 year old woman repeatedly misused the 999 system making calls she knew to be false. Officers attended, arrested, cautioned and charged the woman. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal

LOANHEAD:

On Saturday, March 27, an address at George Terrace was searched under warrant. A quantity of controlled drugs were recovered. A 47 year old man has been cautioned and charged and a report submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

On Friday, March 26 at the Sainsburys store at Straiton, a 37 year old woman was stopped by staff having attempted to steal £170 worth of goods. Officers attended and cautioned and charged her. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal

PENICUIK:

On Friday, March 26 at Imrie Place, Penicuik, a 24 year old man was found by officers in possession of an axe. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
