Missing Edinburgh woman Leslie Adam found safe and well

A woman reported missing in Edinburgh has been found safe and well.

Police have confirmed that Leslie Adam, who had not been seen since leaving her home in Bughtlin area of Edinburgh over a week ago, has been traced.

The news comes after a public appeal was launched to help track down the 60-year-old amid mounting concerns for her welfare.

A spokesperson for Edinburgh Police said: “We can confirm that Leslie Adam, 60, who had been reported missing from Edinburgh, has been traced safe and well.

“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeals and assisted in our enquiries.”
