One man seriously injured and two arrested after police swoop on Edinburgh's Hawkhill Avenue

A man was left with serious injuries last night (Weds) after an incident at an address in Lochend.

Evening News readers sent images of the units attending an incident at Hawkhill Avenue at around 10:30pm last night

Police in Edinburgh have now confirmed that a 27-year-old man suffered serious injuries following a disturbance in the Restalrig area of the city.

He was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment for his injuries and remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.Two men, aged 48 and 41, and a 34-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the incident.
