Police arrest man in connection with city break-ins

The incidents have happened over recent months. Twenty-six charges relating to these break ins have been brought against the 25-year-old, along with two charges of breaking into houses.

Hide AdThere have also been additional charges brought concerning the theft of cars and driving offences.
He will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday, November 17.
Detective Inspector Grant Johnston of Gayfield CID said: “The prevention and detection of housebreaking is a priority for us across the city.
“Break ins to business premises not only result in thefts, they also deprive the business owner of their livelihood. We will continue to commit significant resources to investigate these crimes.”
