Police hunt man and woman after Dalkeith assault outside Lidl store

Officers say another man and woman were assaulted by the pair in Newmills Road at about 1:25am on Sunday, March 1st.

The male suspect is described as white, about 5ft 8ins in height, of medium build, aged between 20 and 25 with short dark hair, some facial hair and a spotty complexion. At the time he was wearing a grey tracksuit.

The female suspect is described as being white, of slim build and aged between 20 and 25, with long dark hair.
