Princes Street incident: Three teens arrested after 'brawl' in Edinburgh's city centre

Three teenagers have been arrested after police in Edinburgh swooped on Princes Street following reports of “fighting” in the street.
A heavy police presence was seen on Princes Street around 9:30pm on Friday evening, with multiple cop vehicles visible at the scene.

Hide AdOne resident told the Edinburgh Evening News she saw over six police vehicles attending the incident close the corner of Hanover Street with one another witness adding he saw girls “fighting”.
The disturbance was quickly broken up by officers and nobody was seriously injured.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a disturbance on Princes Street in Edinburgh around 9.50pm on Friday, 7 August.
"Nobody was seriously injured.
"Three people - two girls both aged 14 and one boy 15 - have been arrested in connection with the incident. Reports will be submitted to the Children's Reporter."
