It is believed that the car park at the rear of the Royal Bank of Scotland was used to access the back of the property, and due to the amount of items stolen, a vehicle was thought to have been used to help move them.

Detective Constable Ross Collett, of West Lothian CID said: “The break-in was reported to us yesterday and although this happened at some point over the past three weeks, we're hopeful the incident attracted attention due to the type of items stolen.”

"The items were large and heavy so a vehicle may have been involved in moving them.

"I would ask anyone who has any information or has been offered these items to contact us.”
