Restricted patient who fled during hospital visit is found

A RESTRICTED patient who absconded during an escorted hospital outing has been found.

Paul Brownlie, a restricted patient at the Orchard Clinic in Edinburgh, went missing on Saturday.

Authorities said they were keen to trace him as soon as possible and anyone with information had been asked to contact police.

They announced on Monday afternoon that Mr Brownlie had been located.

Mr Brownlie has previously escaped from a secure unit in Perth in 2014, before handing himself in to authorities two days later.
