Search ongoing for 39-year-old man after police incident on Queensferry Crossing

Police Scotland are searching for a 39-year-old man after a police incident on the Queensferry Crossing yesterday (Monday).

Officers were called to the bridge at around 3pm, responding to reports of a concern for a person.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called to the Queensferry Crossing around 3pm on Monday, 13 January, 2020 following a report of a concern for a person.

"Enquiries are ongoing to trace a 39-year-old man."

Traffic on the bridge was disrupted for several hours yesterday due to the incident.
