Spate of car break-ins reported in Bonnyrigg

Ten car-break-ins in Bonnyrigg over a two night period late last month were reported to the police.

Among them, between midnight and 7.20am on January 23, a VW Passat parked in Cherry Road was entered and a drill and three faulty phones were stolen. Between midnight and 8am on January 23 a Mercedes parked in Burnbrae View was entered and an iPod and a quantity of perfumes were stolen. Between midnight and 8.30am on January 23 a Ford Fiesta in Gordon Avenue was entered and a Sat Nav and small quantity of cash were stolen. While overnight January 22/23 a Nissan in Saw Mills Gardens was entered and a CD player and bag were stolen.

Overnight January 22/23 a Saab car parked in Gordon Avenue was entered and a large quantity of cat food was stolen from within.

In the early hours of January 23, an Audi in Dalhousie Drive was entered and a purse and money were stolen. Overnight January 22/23 a bank card was stolen from a Vauxhall in Almond Crescent. On the same night a Ford parked in Dalhousie Avenue West was entered and a Sat Nav was stolen.

Also overnight January 22/23 a blue Mini parked in De Quincy Road was entered and a child’s computer game stolen.
