Three bikes believed to have been potentially stolen from NHS workers have been recovered by police in Edinburgh.

Officers recovered the bikes following enquiries into bike thefts from the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

Multiple NHS workers had been posting on social media about their bikes being stolen from the hospital.

Police now believe they have recovered three potentially stolen bikes and told people to get in touch if they believe the bikes to be theirs.

Posting on Twitter, Edinburgh Police said: “On 19/05/20 our Violence Reduction Officers were conducting enquiries into the theft of pedal cycles from the @RIE_Lothian @NHS_Lothian. Three pedal cycles believed to be stolen have been recovered. If you think any of these belong to you, call 101 quoting inc 678 of 20/05/2020.”
