Three men charged after cannabis worth £180,000 seized in East Lothian

Drugs with an estimated street value of more than £180,000 have been seized by police in East Lothian.

A 20-year-old man was charged on Sunday after officers stopped and searched a silver BMW on the A1 road at Abbotsview, Haddington, and found about £175,000 worth of cannabis.

Two men, aged 33 and 23, were also charged in relation to an incident on Saturday after police spoke to two men in a Ford Fiesta in Bridge Street, Tranent. Officers recovered cannabis worth about £4,920 after a search of a vehicle and house.

All three men are due to appear in court at a later date.
