Two motorbikes stolen in raid on Bathgate garage

West Lothian police have appealed for information after two valuable motorbikes were stolen from a garage in Hardhill Road, Bathgate.

Thieves targeted the garage between 1am and 3:45am this morning (Monday, June 15), possibly using a vehicle to travel to the scene of the crime.

Officers said they were hunting for “unknown males” in connection with the raid.

One of the bikes was later recovered from the Windyknowe Park area of Bathgate, but police are still searching for the second.

It is an orange and white 2019 KTM 450 stock off road bike.

Detective Sergeant John Bowerbank from Livingston Police Station said 'I would appeal to anyone in the area who may have seen anything suspicious to contact us.

“They may have seen a quad bike being driven during this time or the vehicle the suspects used to get them to the street. If anyone has any information, please get in touch with us.”

Anyone with information should contact Police via 101 quoting incident number 768 of 15th June 2020. Alternatively information can be passed to Crimstoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
