Woman, 31, charged over dog attack at Edinburgh park which left man in hospital

A 31-year-old woman has been charged in connection with a dog attack in Edinburgh which resulted in a man being taken to hospital.

Police were called to the incident at Links Gardens, by Leith Links, shortly before 5:30pm on Friday July 10.

A police spokesperson said: "Police were called to Links Gardens, Edinburgh, around 5.25pm on Friday, 10 July, 2020, following a report of a man being bitten by a dog.

"The man was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary Hospital for treatment.

"A 31-year-old woman has been charged in connection."

According to other media reports, the man was left with several wounds to his hands and leg.
