Shoppers in Dalkeith have been bargain hunting in the former home of the Advertiser.
The Salvation Army opened a new charity shop at 12 High Street.
Following an opening ceremony including a blessing from representatives of The Salvation Army, the shop’s team of staff and volunteers welcomed a crowd of customers into the new store.
Shop manager Linda Kidd said: “We’ve been very busy getting the shop ready for a while now and the response from local residents has been fantastic.”
