A two-year-old Border Collie has returned home more confident and “mature” after living ruff for ten weeks with a group of female foxes.
Rescue dog Captain had anxiety issues and was flighty and nervous when adopted by the McCabe family from Eskbank.
But incredibly, after running away and living in woods near Dalkeith, where he bonded with a pack of ferral vixens, he has become a new dog.
He had been out for a walk at King’s Park with Catherine McCabe on August 3 when he bolted after hearing a loud bang.
