Dalkeith hunt leaders pick up their prizes

A special ‘Dalkeith Molecule Hunt’ has been held as part of the Midlothian Science Festival.

Fifteen local shops took part in the hunt which challenged contestants to find hidden molecular illustrations.

The winner was Xander Dinse-Harrower (8) who, along with the runner up Noah Cummings (6), received a molecule kit and gift voucher. Proudly displaying their prizes, the youngsters are pictured alongside Midlothian Council project officer Rod Lugg, Councillor Lisa Beattie and senior assistant at Dalkeith Library Elaine Robertson.
