Breakfast in bed is nice, but news of a £361,988 lottery win must be about the best wake-up call a woman could ask for.
Lucky Lesley Roberts (54) was fast asleep at her Danderhall home when her husband Gwynedd (56) checked his emails.
She thought it was a late April Fool’s Day prank when he woke her up telling her they were Euromillions winners.
Gwynedd said: “I decided to check the Euromillions numbers online.
“I couldn’t quite believe it when I saw my numbers coming up, so woke up my wife to get her to double check. She thought initially I was joking.
“Lesley just looked and looked again at the ticket and was shaking like a leaf.”
