DIY HIV test KO’d
PEOPLE in the Lothians who fear they may have HIV have been warned against ordering self-testing kits online.
Health Protection Scotland said the packages, which save the embarrassment and inconvenience of attending a health centre, did not offer accurate results.
Health chiefs are particularly concerned about this occurring in and around Edinburgh, given it has the highest levels of the infection in Scotland.
