Fire crews tackled a blaze at a Chinese dumpling factory at Bilston Glen Industrial Estate in Loanhead last week.
Five crews were scrambled to the kitchen fire in a two-storey warehouse at 1.35pm on Tuesday.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet and sets of breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze. They then used a positive pressure ventilation fan to ventilate the premises.
The building had been evacuated by the time the Fire Service appliances arrived at the scene. No-one is believed to have been hurt in the incident.
The corrugated warehouse is where Jian’s Dumplings Ltd produces dumplings that are sold to Chinese supermarkets and P&O Cruise ships.
Company owner Jian Wang also runs the ‘Chop Chop’ Chinese restaurants in Edinburgh.
When the Advertiser contacted Jian’s Dumplings Ltd we were told that the company did not wish to comment.
