Edinburgh police probe 'unexplained' death of man found outside Holyrood Court flats in Dumbiedykes Road

Officers and paramedics were called to an area outside Holyrood Court flats in Dumbiedykes Road at around 2pm on Thursday.
It is understood the man fell from height but details about why he fell are not yet known.

Hide AdPictures from the scene show an area taped off outside the building with police cars and an ambulance parked close by.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2pm on Thursday, 30 July, officers were called to the Holyrood Court area of Edinburgh, following the sudden death of a man.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
