Ex-school worker guilty of sexually abusing children
Colwyn Baker, - of Morningside - David Hennessy and Nigel Putman abused youngsters at the now-defunct Swaylands School in Penshurst, Kent, stretching back to 1963.
At Maidstone Crown Court, after 49 hours and 11 minutes of deliberations, jurors convicted Baker, 71, of Craighouse Avenue, of five counts of indecent assault. He was cleared of one sex assault and one indecent assault.
Hennessy, 74, of Norfolk, was found guilty of two indecent assaults, and Putman, 62, of Berkshire, was convicted of one indecent assault.
The jury is still deliberating on a total of 38 other counts.
