Dalkeith Arts will hold its annual spring exhibition next month, open to all local aspiring artists to show off their works to the public.

The exhibition will take place from March 24 to April 7, at Riccio’s gallery in Dalkeith. As well as artists from Dalkeith Arts, other local aspiring artists and crafters are encouraged to take place.

Mary Blair from Dalkeith Arts, said: “If you live in Dalkeith area we welcome your contributions.

“Come along and bring your friends and family to look at and enjoy the fruits of the labour of artists from the area. Diverse styles and exciting pieces are yours for the viewing, but it’s only here for two weeks, so make some space in your diary right now.

“We are happy to be working with the gallery, which offers a variety of shows throughout the year, and has made time for us to highlight the skills of our local community of artists.

“Our task is to keep residents’ focus on the arts and we do this by holding two exhibitions a year and offering opportunities for local people to have a go at a variety of workshops throughout the year

“Our exhibition is free and you will get a very warm welcome. There will be artists and art enthusiasts to chat with, or you can take your own time to wander round and enjoy the show.”
