Festivals seek a bright idea
A NEW competition has been launched to try to generate ideas that will improve Edinburgh’s festivals.
The city council is leading the Open Innovation “Ideas Challenge”, which has been set up after securing European Union funding support.
Ideas can be submitted to ideas.edinburghfestivals.co.uk. The top 25 entries, as voted by the public, will be awarded a prize pack worth £100.
The overall winner’s prize is worth £500 and includes either an iPad or two nights’ accommodation and festival tickets in 2012.
