Force used Tasers twice
TASERS have only been used twice by Lothian and Borders Police since the force was issued with the stun guns five years ago.
Officers with Strathclyde Police have used the weapon 34 times while Lothian and Borders, Central Scotland and Tayside Police forces have all used the weapon on two occasions.
Northern Constabulary said it had only been used during training while the Grampian, Fife and Dumfries and Galloway forces have never used it.
