Full marks, science fest

The first Midlothian Science Festival has been hailed a success after it attracted more than 1000 visitors.

Events aimed at all age groups were held in nine venues across the county, including two sell-out shows by “stand-up scientist” Dr Bunhead.

Midlothian Council leader Bob Constable, said: “This was a fantastic event for the area, not only did it boost people’s imaginations but it brought more visitors into Midlothian.”
