Funds raised for Yorkhill
A TOTAL of £10,880 has been presented to Yorkhill Children’s Hospital following fundraising efforts in memory of a West Lothian baby.
The Baby Reece McGuire Memorial recently held its annual fundraiser at the Bathgate Community Centre, at which the cheque was handed over to Dr Alan Houston, a recently retired cardiologist.
The money will be used to support the parents of babies born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, from which Livingston’s Reece McGuire suffered before his death at less than a month old.
