Hundreds of well-dressed men jumped on their bikes for a charity ride through Midlothian to raise awareness and money for prostate cancer.
The Distinguished Gentlemen’s Bike Ride was held on Sunday September 27 across the globe, with more than 37,136 smartly-dressed gentlefolk in 410 cities from 79 countries straddling the saddles of their café racers, bobbers, scramblers and other marvellous custom motorcycles to raise awareness and help fund the cure for prostate cancer.
The ‘Edinburgh’ ride started at the Leadburn Inn and passed through Auchendinny and Straiton. The ride finished up in the Grassmarket.
In 2014, over 20,000 participants in 58 countries raised over 1.5 million dollars for prostate cancer research.
