Get taste for local food at Blasda event
BLASDA organiser Mike Small shows off some produce as communities across the country team up to launch the first ever nationwide celebration of local food.
The Blasda event, meaning tasty in Gaelic, will see groups from across the country joining up to fly the flag for local food culture on September 10 and a menu of ceilidhs, suppers and feasts, potluck picnics, talks, food-films and soup kitchens is planned.
