Girls target charity cash

St George’s School for Girls pupils have set up their own business to raise funds for charity.

They have been given £50 and told to make more money as part of Ahead Of The Game, a nationwide competition.

The pupils’ business, Vintage Vaults, will turn used clothes into more fashionable items for resale, raising money for poverty charity Plan Girls Fund.

Pupil Tina Mather said: “It’s been a demanding, but extremely rewarding exercise.”
