Go-ahead for pub plan at Holy Corner
The city has agreed to proposals by Signature Pubs Limited to transform the disused Bank of Scotland branch at Holy Corner into a bar and restaurant with a beer garden.
An extension will be built to the rear of the original bank building.

Cllr Alex Staniforth raised concerns about a nursery operating nearby but planning officials said there was no legislation against a pub being located next to a nursery.
Concerns were also raised over delivery lorries operating close to the outside terrace.
Cllr Chas Booth recommended the plans were rejected.
But councillors approved the application and listed building consent, with Cllr John McLellan speaking out in favour of the proposals “adding to the area”.
