Grant helps LEAP take a big stride
Lothians and Edinburgh Abstinence Programme (LEAP) has been given a grant to mark the 50th anniversary of grant-making organisation the Roberston Trust.
The funding will be over three years at the Portland Street Recovery House, a nine-bed unit for men leaving treatment, which helps them to continue their recovery in a safe environment.

Hide AdDr David McCartney, clinical lead for LEAP, said: “I am delighted that LEAP has received this award as we enter into our fifth year. It recognises the many achievements of the team and our patients.
“Since the programme began in 2007, I’ve seen the life-changing impact recovery has on our patients and their families. This award is not just about helping LEAP to grow, it is about reaching out to more people in active addiction and giving them the support they need to start their recovery journey.”
The scheme will be run by several of the partner organisations which make up LEAP.
