Grave concern over fallen headstones
Leaders of the Corstorphine Trust said they had launched the drive after finding around a fifth of gravestones at the area’s Old Parish Church had been knocked over.
The church was founded in 1429 and the city-council owned graveyard is also believed to be centuries old. The move comes after offenders last year helped fix more than 200 gravestones at Liberton Brae Cemetery.

“Re-erecting them would make such a difference. The graveyard looks deplorable just now.”
