Dalkeith businessmen Fraser Ewart and Colin Cassidy set off on the adventure of a lifetime last week, with their sights set on completing the world famous Gumball Rally event in a 1930s Bentley convertible.

Colin, who runs Basically Tool Hire, will be taking turns to drive the classic car with owner Fraser, who is boss at GP Autos.

Kicking off from Miami’s South Beach, the Bentley will head North to the first stop of Atlanta before heading up to New York. The car will then be flown cross-continent to Edinburgh before driving down to London, Paris, Barcelona and on to Ibiza for the final night party.

Cost of entry for the lucky 120 entrants is a mere £40,000 including the F1 hospitality and flight. Watch this space for updates on the men’s adventure.
