Hello Dolly’s birthplace

Midlothian’s Roslin Institute building, famous for being the birthplace of Dolly the sheep, is inviting people to its open day.

The award-winning institute, which undertakes science focused on the health and welfare of animals, is also home to the Scottish Agricultural College, which specialises in support to rural communities and industries. Both are housed at the award-winning building.

The free event, which is part of the Scottish Civic Trust’s national Doors Open Day series, will take place on Saturday, September 8 between 1pm and 4pm.
