Hidden gems of George St
A NEW walking tour has been launched to show off the “hidden gems” of George Street.
Visitors will visit the Assembly Rooms, the Dome and the Royal Society of Edinburgh and hear their stories.
The walks are by Mercat Tours which runs tours of the Old Town. It is in partnership with Edinburgh World Heritage and Essential Edinburgh.
A Mercat Tours’ spokeswoman said: “Mercat will, for the first time, allow access to admire hidden gems.”
