This year, the visitor attraction is stopping off at 44 locations across the UK but will not be visiting Edinburgh.

However, the attraction will be stopping in Scotland, visiting, Glasgow, Dundee and Ayr in late November, but the tour will omit the Capital.

When contacted, a Coca-Cola spokesperson said: “We try to cover as much of the country as we can but unfortunately we can’t visit every single town and city.

“To ensure as many people as possible get the opportunity to experience the tour we update the route every year, making sure we visit locations which are easily accessible from the surrounding areas.

“We are also offering people the opportunity to win a home visit from the Coca-Cola Christmas truck through a competition we’re running on pack.”

The truck will be in Glasgow on November 18. Ayr on November 19th and Dundee on November 20th before heading south.
